Pianist, performer and artistic researcher based in Strasbourg, Carolina Santiago is a concert pianist of contemporary and classical music working as a soloist and in chamber ensembles with an international trajectory. She is pianist of Ensemble Linea, L'Imaginaire, Semblance, Barcelona Modern Ensemble, and founded the groups Syntagma Piano Duo and Regrat Duo (Dichotomia Tactus). She has performed at festivals and venues such as Festival de Royaumont, Nouvelles Aventures (Wiener Konzerthaus), NienteForte Festival (New Orleans, USA), Festival Ruhrtriennale, Elbphilarmonie Hamburg, L'Auditori de Barcelona (Spain), and has recorded for Radio France with Linea and as a soloist for IRCAM. Santiago is currently a doctoral student at Aveiro University. Previously, she studied as part of the CoPeCo master's program (in Tallinn, Stockholm, Lyon and Hamburg) and obtained a master's and bachelor's degree in classical music on a scholarship of excellence from Barcelona's Liceu. Carolina Santiago's artistic profile is distinguished by her exploration of creativity through different forms as an eclectic contemporary musician.
