This is the first meeting of LOL.

Before the meeting

• plans and ideas for LOL
  • the laptop orchestra aesthetic
  • creating long-term computer-mediated musical instruments for LOL
  • composing for LOL
  • performing with LOL
  • a possible time table and upcoming venues
• brainstorming session
  • getting sense of feasible time commitments from members
  • demos, including some SLOrk instruments
  • initial volunteers for various tasks
  • possible break-out session
• planing; we should leave the meeting with a clear agenda and timetable for the next LOL meetup!

After the meeting

• possible ChucK tutorial/install session as related to laptop orchestra (there will an emphasis on open source audio software in LOL, and ChucK will be used as a platform for exchange of ideas and instrument prototyping). In general, all software welcome!
