Nancy Rico-Mineros

Nancy is a first year MA/MST graduate student at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University. Nancy holds a Bachalor of Music from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development where she majored in Music Technology.

A Camden New Jersey native, growing up across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Nancy has always had an intrest in local music scenes. Nancy's current area of focus is in location-based music recommender systems and in creating technology that can help serve the better interest of indepdent artist. In addition to Nancy's interest in the field of Music Info Retrevial, Nancy is an audio engineer, who has interned for record labels such as Sony Music Entertainment. When Nancy is not working, chances are that she is probably listening to One Direction or watching Glee.
